With CNN since 2006, Brianna Keilar is currently the network's senior political correspondent, covering significant issues in politics and policy. Additionally,
she serves the role of lead reporter covering the campaigns of Hillary Clinton and other Democrats for the 2016 elections.
In 2001, Ms. Keilar graduated from the UC Berkeley with a dual bachelor's in mass communications and psychology, and was a member of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa society. She began her career in television news as an intern and production assistant at KTVU Channel 2 in Oakland, California. Prior to working for CNN, she worked for CBS for several years, covering such stories as the 2004 presidential primaries and the 2005 NFL Draft. While with CBS, she also fill-in anchored on CBS News' overnight newscast, Up to the Minute, and worked as a freelance reporter for CBS Evening News Weekend Edition.
